Ancient Latvian Symbols Card Deck
As part of my work with Experience Latvia, I designed a deck of cards that blend ancient Latvian symbols with modern graphic design. This project involved creating 20 custom-designed cards, each featuring a unique Latvian symbol, accompanied by a short explanation of its cultural significance – and a special message about why this card has found you and the wisdom it brings to your life. The cards are crafted to serve as an intuitive tool for users, allowing them to pull a card and receive a special message.
I used Adobe Illustrator to create the designs, incorporating earthy tones and vintage elements to evoke a sense of calm and connection to Latvian heritage. The deck is complemented by thoughtfully designed packaging, making it perfect for sale in bookshops, souvenir stores, and farmers’ markets.
